At our office in Tel Aviv, we’re looking for a Financial Controller to join our team in a part-time (50%), hybrid position. You will collaborate closely with our HQ and global teams, providing timely and accurate financial information that supports our operations, decision-making, and financial processes.
What we are seeking
This key role is responsible for managing the organization's financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The Financial Controller will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, optimize financial performance, and adapt strategies to align with organizational objectives.
This position is crucial for maintaining financial health and supporting the company's long-term growth and success.
What will you do
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including preparing financial statements and tax returns and coordinating with external accountants for reporting to our HQ in Denmark.
- Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), and revenue recognition.
- Create and maintain monthly budget vs. actual reporting and cash flow analysis.
- Work with external auditors and consultants during annual audits and address ongoing issues as needed.
- Support various accounting and finance-related projects (Bank/Mgt. reports, Earn-outs, Cash flow, etc.).
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. Additionally, you'll be the go-to person for responding to inquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and transparency.
Qualifications:
- Certified CPA with 3 + years of relevant work experience, preferably as a controller in a global high-tech or a global agency.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, learn fast, and be self-motivated.
- Excellent skills in Excel.
- Fluency in both written and verbal English and Hebrew.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision, highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
