Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a new team player, who would like to join our team as:
Financial Controller - R2R (We currently have 3 open positions across our BELUX, Germany and Netherland teams)
Type of Employment: Permanent
Location: Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare monthly management reporting, including variance analysis against the business plan and performance commentary (OPEX, CAPEX, KPIs, etc.).
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of P&L reporting and drive corrective actions when needed, including accruals, adjustments and reclassifications.
- Participate in the Business Plan process and facilitate the preparation of the OPEX budget.
- Partner with the local FP&A team to provide relevant and timely financial information to key stakeholders across the Business Units and corporate teams.
- Understand accounting impacts within areas of responsibility and assess their potential effect on financial performance.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, reliability and integrity of management reporting processes and deliverables.
- Participate in projects, perform ad hoc analysis and support other tasks as required.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Solid experience (2+ years) in Controlling, Accounting, Audit or similar field, preferably within an international work environment.
- Degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics or a similar field. Specialization in Accounting is an advantage.
- Good computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel, and general understanding of ERP & SAP systems.
- Accuracy and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Curiosity and an inquisitive mindset towards generated results.
- Autonomy and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively within tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a simple and meaningful way.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with colleagues across Europe and America.
- Knowledge of French/Dutch/German would be considered an advantage, to communicate with Business Units.
- ACCA certificate or ongoing ACCA studies is an advantage.

Skills Required
