Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Financial Analyst – Level 2, to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. This role is located in Chandler AZ and is 100% onsite.
In this role, you will play a key role in supporting financial processes, analyses, and reporting to inform decision-making, with a primary focus on Launch Systems (LS) investments related to Bid and Proposal (B&P) and Marketing (M&S) efforts. As part of a collaborative team, you will gain valuable exposure to various financial functions while assisting with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Role and Impact:
- Assist & coordinate with B&P & M&S project owners to prepare monthly forecasts and annual plans/budgets.
- Perform variance analyses between actuals, forecasts, and annual plan, identifying meaningful trends and insights.
- Support the creation, maintenance, and improvement of common financial processes and documentation.
- Provide feedback on current forecasting methodologies and assist project owners implementing improved techniques to enhance accuracy and predictability.
- Uncover and address gaps in financial systems or models.
- Support the development and maintenance of common processes or templates.
- Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field with 2+ years of professional experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business – OR – Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field with 1+ years of professional experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Experience with managing and analyzing data under with strict deadlines.
- No clearance required to start.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cognos TM1, Cognos Reports and Costpoint/SAP.
- Finance experience.

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
