REPORTS TO: Program Finance Manager
SUPERVISES: N/A
AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for the maintenance, monitoring and initial analysis of assigned Projects for cost, schedule and performance
- Interfaces with Customers and internal departments of preparation of Project status for the Program
- Provide analysis and verification of Program submitted Forecast and EACs
- Provide GAP analysis of EACs and adjustments
- Responsible for collecting deliverable inputs from various departments and assists in reviewing for technical and administrative correctness prior to submitting to Customer Contract Data Requirement List (CDRLs)
- Participates in weekly and ad-hoc meetings with Program teams as required
- Identifies trends and develops support metrics for operations / others
- Research of all discrepancies in charging and be able to resolve timely and accurately
- Monitor tasking, performance to plan and funding on a regular basis
- Analyze data to produce accurate variance analysis reports and metrics
- Prepare and submit financial briefs to the Program Office as required and facilitate timely response to any questions/discrepancies
- Monitor contract dollar values by element of cost to support Program Office and financial impacts
- Maintains written policy and procedures for area of responsibility
- Maintains compliance with Company policies and procedures
- BS/BA Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with 3-5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in manufacturing or public accounting
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills required
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Government contracts a plus but not required
- Some experience working with financial models and internal rate of return calculations
- Basic knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
- Basic understanding of contract types and values preferred
- Intermediate level of research and analysis skills
- Working knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Management System a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to work with limited direction in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
