The Cost Accountant II prepares month-end closing entries, analyzes costs, ensures compliance with accounting standards, supports audits, and collaborates with teams to manage project finances.

Coordinate and synchronize supplier activities for additive manufacturing qualification and approval. Create and track schedules, report status, resolve constraints, liaise with stakeholders, produce weekly reports, and support continuous improvement and corrective actions.

The Electrical Designer III develops 2D and 3D drawings, checks designs, and collaborates with teams for shipyard design projects.

Leads Austal’s West Coast ship repair and sustainment operations, overseeing P&L, contracts, workforce planning, production schedules, quality systems, compliance, subcontractors, and Navy vessel maintenance programs. Coordinates LCS and EPF repair efforts across domestic and international locations, validates earned value and schedule performance, manages corrective actions, and represents the company with government, industry, and community stakeholders. The role requires extensive vessel-site work, travel, physical activity, and leadership experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or industrial construction.

Develops shipyard work packages, budgets, schedules, sequencing, and material assignments for submarine structural components. Reviews drawings for producibility, maintains planning databases, incorporates changes, coordinates subcontractor work transfers, supports shop-order processing, and answers production questions. Collaborates with planning, production, project, scheduling, and engineering teams while applying EVMS, scheduling, MRP, and lean manufacturing concepts.

Develop and check 2D and 3D electrical CAD drawings, coordinate with production and cross-functional teams, lead and train CAD drafters/designers, and create interference-free 3D models from schematics and vendor data to meet shipyard production schedules and customer requirements.

Coordinate functional leads to ensure vessel construction meets milestones, cost, schedule, quality and regulatory requirements. Requires extensive onboard vessel presence and significant physical activity.

Provide application installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and integration for digital manufacturing systems supporting the Navy AM COE. Evaluate and recommend software, ensure data integrity, create/execute test scripts, support COTS applications, assist users, participate in testing (UAT/integration), produce routine reporting, and document changes while collaborating with program management and senior team members.

Perform marine fit-out joinery on submarines: layout, prefabricate and install bulkheads, doors, ceilings, furniture, shelving, consoles, ductwork and insulation. Operate woodworking and metalworking tools (including CNC shear/break, iron worker), read blueprints, perform material takeoffs, mount equipment, apply interior painting, and may direct assistants. Requires marine or comparable trade experience and proof of US Person status.
