Position Overview:
Brunswick Corporation’s Business Acceleration division is focused on expanding boating participation and creating innovative experiences that connect more people to life on the water. As a apart of the talented finance team, the Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the division’s financial planning, reporting and analysis activities, including consolidating financial results, supporting budget, strategic plan and forecast processes, preparing executive-level reporting materials, fulfilling corporate reporting requirements, and advancing process improvements through automation and standardization. This role will partner closely with finance and accounting teams, cross-functional business leaders, and Business Acceleration senior leadership to deliver accurate, actionable insights that improve reporting efficiency and support strategic decision-making across the organization. The position reports to the Finance Manager and is based at Brunswick’s corporate office in Mettawa, Illinois.

Essential Functions:
- Consolidate and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting for Business Acceleration, ensuring data integrity and alignment with corporate reporting standards.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews by preparing clear, visually compelling materials that highlight trends, key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly executive-level presentations for senior management, translating financial results, key business drivers, and performance trends into clear, actionable insights.
- Coordinate the consolidation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts across the Business acceleration businesses and functional areas.
- Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances, underlying drivers, and business impacts.
- Serve as a key finance liaison between Business Acceleration teams and Brunswick Corporate Finance to support monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline reporting processes, reduce manual effort, and improve reporting accuracy through automation, standardization, and improved tools.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects that enable business performance evaluation and strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of financial analysis and/or accounting experience.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Experience supporting business leaders through financial analysis and decision-making.
- Pricing, margin, and profitability analysis experience.
- Experience developing business cases and performing sensitivity analyses.
- Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or similar industries.
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid schedule with three days onsite in Mettawa, IL (Brunswick Corporate HQ)
- This position is full time (40-hour work week).
- No travel required.
- Individual contributor role with no direct reports.
The hiring range for this position is $66,500.00 - $95,750.00 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
