Job Summary
Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are seeking a technology-savvy accounting professional to drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives across Corporate Controllers Group (CCG). This role combines accounting expertise with technology, data analytics, and process improvement capabilities to develop solutions that enhance efficiency, reporting, and controls. While supporting key accounting processes during the monthly close cycle, the primary focus of the role is identifying, developing, and implementing automation solutions that modernize and streamline finance operations.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and support automation opportunities that improve efficiency, reporting, controls, and business processes within Corporate Controllers Group (CCG).
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements to recommend automation solutions and process improvements that meet stakeholder needs.
- Coordinate automation projects through planning, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automation solutions, dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to support CCG operations, including solutions developed directly within the CCG organization.
- Provide support for internal and external financial statements in compliance with GAAP or other regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with business partners, developers, and external resources to translate business requirements into effective automation and reporting solutions.
- Monitor project milestones, track progress, and prepare status updates and presentations for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement for existing automation, reporting, and analytics solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Research and leverage new technologies, tools, and data capabilities to improve productivity, accuracy, and scalability across CCG processes.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently, in a cross functional team and with various levels
- Participate in period-end close activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks and account reconciliations, including identification and resolution of unusual items and issues
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 3+ years of professional experience in public accounting or corporate accounting.
- Experience with automation and analytics tools such as UiPath, Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, and advanced Excel functionality preferred.
- Experience in business process analysis, solution development, User Acceptance Testing and implementation
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and supporting projects from concept through implementation.
- Proven ability to document, streamline, and improve business processes through detailed process mapping, analysis, and documentation.
- Ability to apply accounting knowledge and analytical skills to identify automation opportunities, improve processes, and enhance financial controls.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication (written and oral), change leadership and customer service characteristics.

Compensation
Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
