This opportunity based in our Macquarie Park offices, is best suited to a financial specialist who identifies problems as opportunities and generates novel solutions for the better of the business. Tasked with enabling the finance team to deliver timely and accurate financial results and insights to the business, this role also provides decision making support to the other functions of the business.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will:

  • Carry out the day to day running of monthly accounting cycle tasks include month end close
  • Contribute to month end and quarter end reporting packs
  • Prepare Income Tax returns, having extensive knowledge in this area
  • Facilitate all external and internal audits
  • Manage the Fixed Asset Register and Inventory
  • Work with accounts payable to ensure the correct treatment of all fixed overheads
  • Part-take in annual budgeting and foresting of Overhead areas
  • Build and maintain strong, constructive relationships at various levels of the business
  • Role model the Fisher & Paykel behaviours

You'll need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification - ideally CPA or CA qualified
  • Advanced Excel skillset
  • Experience with JD Edwards One World or similar integrated system desirable
  • Basic Access skills and DW Power BI software experience desirable
  • Financial analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting concepts and processes
  • Ability to clearly communicate key facts concisely and confidently
  • To focus on the high value work, and manage own time effectively
  • Ability to collaborate and participates in cross functional problem solving
