We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in managing the financial operations across all our entities.
As a Finance Manager at Homey, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reconciliation, preparing monthly management accounts, managing working capital, monitoring cash flow, handling payables and receivables reporting, and overseeing rental payments for our Property Management Company. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Finance and other team members, supporting the financial health and process improvements within our organisation.
This role involves hands-on financial management without direct reports but offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the company’s success and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform weekly financial reconciliation for all entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and distribute monthly management accounts to stakeholders.
- Monitor working capital and cash flow effectively.
- Manage rental payments and ensure timely collection, including issuing overdue reminders.
- Generate bi-weekly receivables and payables reports and facilitate payments through platforms like Wise.
- Streamline finance processes to align with operational needs.
- Maintain thorough financial documentation and support onboarding of additional finance staff.
- Collaborate with the Head of Finance and Operations-Focused Accountant to ensure continuity.
Requirements
Educational and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are highly desirable.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
Experience:
- 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within property management or multi-entity environments.
- Demonstrable experience handling financial reconciliation, management accounts, and payment processing.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems.
- Experience with Wise or similar payment platforms is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
