SamLux is an Asset Management company wholly owned by Santander that provide management, administration and marketing services to Luxembourg and/or foreign Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (“UCITS”).
As a Finance Manager, you will manage Santander Asset Management Luxembourg finances, including accounting, financial planning and management information.
Going more granular, you will work on different fronts:
• Responsible of the financial statements and prepares special accounting reports for management or for regulatory agencies.
• Financial planning, liquidity management, capital management, budget and cost control of Santander Asset Management Luxembourg, in collaboration with different areas of the Group including management control, finance, cost, and corporate development units at a corporate and local level.
• Assists in the day-to-day preparation of financial planning, reporting, analytics, modeling, etc. • Monitor the accounting and tax processes specially for Santander Asset Management Luxembourg (transfer pricing policy)
• High collaboration in the planning, coordination and follow up of required committees across the organization to guarantee the correct articulation for the targets.
• Manage the payments with suppliers and internal and external stakeholders.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
EXPERIENCE
8+ years of financial planning, accounting and monitoring, with P&L and Balance Sheet at a multinational level (Europe, UK, USA, Latam).
EDUCATION
Required:
- Bachelor´s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar.
- Language skills - proficient in English.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Required
• Knowledge of financial analysis and budgeting procedures.
• Detail oriented with ability to research, organize and analyze financial data.
• Experience with budgets, planning, and forecasting
• Ability to focus on details.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and projects according to stakeholder and departmental priorities.
• Ability to work well with teams as well as independently.
• Excellent communications and organizational skills.
• Proficient data entry skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
