What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years experience in accounting related roles: start-up and/or insurance industry experience a plus.
- 1+ years experience supervising, mentoring, and coaching staff preferred.
- Proficiency in excel is required.
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines with the ability to work independently and adapt to change while maintaining high productivity, accuracy and quality.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills combined with the ability to interact with and build productive working relationships across all organizational levels and departments.
- Self-driven, self-starter, goal oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced, ever changing environment, curious and wants to learn.
- Experience with Stripe, Looker and SAPbyDesign a plus.
