KONE Corporate Financial Controlling is the guardian of financial compliance of KONE and involves financial reporting, record-to-report process and financial controlling for KONE’s Finnish legal entities. KONE Group Reporting as a part of Corporate Financial Controlling manages KONE’s global reporting and consolidation process and oversees the preparation of consolidated financial disclosures under IFRS. The team works closely with KONE’s business lines, country organizations and global functions supporting them by driving a financially sound business direction and providing relevant intelligence for decision-making. KONE Corporate Financial Controlling and KONE Group Reporting are part of KONE Finance function.

As the current person in the role is moving to a new role within the company, we are looking for a

Finance Manager

to join our Group Reporting and Corporate Financial Controlling teams.

In the role you will:

  • Bring in your experience by taking ownership of key monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes related to both internal and external IFRS reporting with a continuous improvement mindset;

  • Manage our accounting and reporting policies, and participate to the implementation of new accounting and reporting standards under frameworks such as IFRS and CSRD;

  • Be one of the key users for our consolidation and reporting system and drive actively its continuous development;

  • Participate in M&A transactions ensuring their correct accounting and reporting treatment;

  • Collaborate with our country units supporting them in their statutory accounting, reporting, and audit processes;

  • Act as a finance business partner towards our global functions, business units and management;

  • Mentor and coach the junior team members to ensure their professional growth and success in our common goals.

To succeed in the role, you have:

  • At least 7 years of experience in financial controlling and/or audit with a proven track record in group accounting and reporting topics;

  • Solid knowledge of the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS;

  • Willingness to continuous learning and taking over new responsibilities in ever-changing financial controlling and reporting landscape;

  • Ability to influence people and collaborate in a matrix environment with a problem solving and execution mindset;

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data to grasp the 'big picture'

  • Advanced MS Office skills

  • M.Sc. in accounting/finance or in other relevant academic field;

  • Fluency in English and Finnish.

The role will be tailored based on the selected candidate’s profile. While we are working in a hybrid model, regular presence in the Espoo headquarters is essential for the role.
