Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview
This role supports Israel finance operations by providing financial analysis, reporting, and insights that help guide business decisions across the market. The Finance Lead partners with local and regionall finance and business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial planning, performance tracking, and compliance. This position offers exposure to cross‑border finance activities and the opportunity to contribute to the financial health and growth of DePuy Synthes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Israel financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities across regions and markets.
- Prepare and analyze management reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards for local and regional finance and business leaders.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct financial analyses of business results, trends, and drivers to support decision‑making.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to standardize reporting and improve financial processes.
- Support internal and external audit requirements and respond to ad hoc financial requests.
- Apply company financial controls, governance standards, and ethical principles in all activities.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or MBA with a finance or business concentration.
Experience and Skills
Required:
- Typically 5-8 years of relevant finance experience.
- Foundational knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
