The role:
We're looking for a smart, driven, and curious Finance Intern to join our team in 2025 in our Barcelona office. This isn’t your average internship. You’ll work directly with experienced professionals across Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, Finance Operations, and Accounting—getting a front-row seat to how a high-growth tech company makes strategic decisions.
You’ll support on special projects that will vary depending on business needs and your interests, ranging from M&A analysis and board materials preparation to process automation and financial systems improvements.
PLEASE NOTE:
Your University must be willing to sign a 6-month full-time (40 hours / week) internship agreement with TravelPerk. Please double check if this is possible with your institution prior to applying.
Examples of What You Could Contribute at TravelPerk
- Work with the Finance leadership team on cross-functional initiatives and high-impact projects
- Assist in evaluating strategic opportunities such as partnerships, acquisitions, and new markets
- Support financial modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Help streamline and document operational finance processes (e.g., AP/AR, expense management)
- Participate in the month-end close process and liaise with Accounting
- Present your findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the business
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Expected graduation date in 2026
- Interest in working for a high growth scale-up
- Proficient in financial modeling, valuation, analytical and numeracy skills
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter mentality with curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Excellent communication skills – fluent in English
- Full working rights for chosen office location
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or other analytical tools is a plus

Our Vision is for a world where TravelPerk is the platform for human connection in real life (IRL). We take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in person 3 days a week. For roles in Customer Care, this can be up to 5 days per week in the office. As such, this role requires you to be within commuting distance of our hubs. We fundamentally believe in meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, and creativity, ultimately making us a great workplace.
