Job Summary
The Finance Intern will support the finance department with various tasks related to financial analysis, reporting, and operations, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a multinational healthcare technology company.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including budget versus actuals, forecasts, and other management reports.
* Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
* Participate in data collection, validation, and analysis for various financial projects and initiatives.
* Assist with maintaining financial records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Collaborate with other finance team members on ad-hoc requests and special projects.
* Learn and apply company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
* Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Job Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. (At least 1.5 - 2 years to finish degree)
* Strong academic record.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables) is essential.
* Knowledge of other Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, PowerPoint).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Fluency in Spanish and English is highly preferred.
* Previous internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus but not required
