Key
Responsibilities
- Assist in
the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
reports.
- Support
in developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Oversee
daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable,
payroll, and reconciliations.
- Ensure
compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal control
policies.
- Coordinate
and review the preparation of management accounts and financial
statements.
- Monitor
cash flow, working capital, and expenditure to ensure efficient use of
resources.
- Support
the external audit process and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and
financial institutions.
- Identify
and recommend improvements to financial systems, processes, and reporting
tools.
- Supervise
and mentor junior finance team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide
analytical insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s
degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional
qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent (mandatory).
- Minimum
of 3-5 years relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong
knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP
systems).
- Excellent
analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong
attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- High
level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
