Job Purpose
The role is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial and non-financial information to support business decision-making. It involves performance management, financial modelling, forecasting, variance analysis, and providing decision support to management while partnering closely with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and report performance metrics including Monthly Business Review Packs, Board Papers, and Management Reports.
- Monitor performance against targets, analyze variances, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved financial performance.
- Support preparation and review of Management Accounts, KPIs, margins, FTP, ALM, and forecasts.
- Review and evaluate financial business cases for investment projects and conduct post-implementation reviews.
- Provide financial modelling, variance, and trend analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Support Medium-Term and Short-Term Planning processes.
- Act as a key interface between Finance and senior business stakeholders.
- Support strategic value analysis and cost control initiatives.
- Respond to routine and ad-hoc financial information requests.
Risk Management
- Maintain and update risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting processes.
- Promote risk management tools, culture, and drive remediation of audit findings.

- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, including Excel and database querying (SQL).
- Flexible and able to work across teams.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant; CPA (T), ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
- Master’s degree or IT/Actuarial/Mathematics background is an added advantage.
Working Experience required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financially focused or business partnering role.
- Strong experience in financial analysis, modelling, and management decision support.
