The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our finance team in a permanent, full-time position. This is a hands-on role responsible for financial and management reporting, as well as supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis and insights. You’ll be joining a high-performing team in a flexible work environment, with the option to work from home two days per week.
The day to day
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing monthly management reports
- Managing month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conducting variance and trend analysis to support business performance
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating across departments to implement financial controls and policies
- Providing detailed reports and strategic insights to senior leadership
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supervising and mentoring administrative team members
- Liaising with external auditors and overseeing audit readiness
- Supporting the ongoing development of financial systems and process improvements
The Essentials
To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and leadership skills, with a solid foundation in accounting principles and a proactive mindset. In addition, you will bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- CPA or equivalent certification
- 5+ years’ experience in accounting roles
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to financial integrity
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Pronto viewed favourably
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data clearly
- A passion for continuous improvement and mentoring others
