Finance Assistant (Intern)

What will you work on?

The role reports into the Finance Manager and is responsible for performing Intercompany reconciliations, settlement transactions and periodical reporting for European entities.
How will you create impact?

• Month-end Intercompany related activities – manual billing of inventory invoices, identification of iDocs and their resolution/communication to relevant regional Finance managers for resolution

• Monthly Intercompany Settlements in compliance with Intercompany policy

• Monthly preliminary and final IC accounts reconciliation (IC confirmations), investigation of unmatched transactions driving IC imbalance, follow up with respective finance manager and preparation of balancing entries

• Monthly IC AP/AR aging reports with EU FMs

• Preparation of PanEU IC recharge upload file based on predefined template (LTIP, LTIP taxes)

• Follow up on parked/unposted IC transactions with local Finance managers during the month-end close

What are your skills and experience?

• Education: High School (preferred Business Academy), University student, Bachelor's degree

• Specialization, field: Economic, finance, business

• Strong computer skills in MS Office, Excel in particular, knowledge of SAP would be an advantage

• Fluent written and spoken English is a must

• High consistency and focus on details

• Strong analytical skills

• Initiative and attention to details

• Ability to work autonomously when required

• Works well with team or independently

• Proven time-management skills

The anticipated pay for candidate is 6Eur /per hour (gross).
