The Field Sales Engineer is responsible for selling Broadcom’s Software Defined Edge (SDE) product portfolio to end customers in various industry verticals like manufacturing, retail and communication service providers in Japan.
The sales specialist will manage and drive a business responsibility of $3M+ and will represent Broadcom to the customers and develop market and account strategies to drive growth. This position is responsible for establishing and developing trusted relationships across all levels at the customer and service provider.
Key Responsibilities:
- Definition and execution of business plan to drive the Japanese Software Defined Edge business
- Develop a trusted network and establish relationship with key contacts at assigned accounts.
- Create a compelling business growth strategy in the assigned accounts and markets.
- Demand creation and execution of account penetration sales strategy, while monitoring and reporting account/market plans against goals (design wins, revenue growth and corporate targets).
- Manage and engage all relevant stakeholders to identify, cultivate and convert the new business opportunity pipeline.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals in line in with corporate targets.
- Interact seamlessly and collaboratively across all disciplines within the company.
Specific Knowledge/Experience/Expertise
- 10-15 years sales experience
- In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN/ SASE and EDGE technologies.
- Existing network in the Japanese partner ecosystem and service providers
- Experience in working with multinational accounts.
- Can cope with change, proactive, fast learner, ability to work under stress, and results oriented.
- Problem solving skills: Understand the nature of the challenges and be able to propose accurate solutions and can-do negotiation.
- Excellent english verbal and written communication skills required.
