The Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) supports the Field Marketing Manager (FMM) in building the local face of Red Bull in their state in line with the global and national strategies and priorities. They establish local field networks, encompassing scene experts and opinion leaders across both online platforms and in person. With a core focus on the sports playground and fitness occasion, the FMS – Active Lifestyle, plays a crucial role in creating and implementing marketing initiatives that drive credibility and connection in these spaces.
While their expertise lies in sports, they also support the broader marketing mix, collaborating with Student Marketing, Culture, Red Bull Media Network and other channels to integrate their work across the business. Additionally, they leverage opportunities in On Premise, Off Premise, and New Business channels, they tailor strategies to meet local needs and specificities. Job Description
STRATEGIC DIRECTION AND RIGHTNESS OF BRAND PRIORITIES
- Support the FMM to implement the field strategy and develop initiatives aimed at enhancing brand health and deepening local understanding of product functionality and relevance.
- Develop and lead high-impact marketing programs tailored to state needs, ensuring alignment with national brand strategies while maintaining a focus on measurable results.
- Serve as a senior cross-functional collaborator, effectively aligning internal and external stakeholders with organisational objectives and field priorities.
- Analyse market trends and consumer behaviours to proactively adjust strategies ensuring relevance across key consumption occasions and moments of need.
- Demonstrate strong commercial insight to ensure marketing initiatives contribute to increased can sales.
MARKETING INNOVATION
- Spearhead the development and execution of groundbreaking local initiatives that amplify global and national campaigns.
- Lead the end-to-end process of strategic partnership development, from initial outreach and relationship building to structuring and negotiating contracts that deliver mutual benefits. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to negotiate favorable terms and ensure agreements are executed with precision, safeguarding brand reputation and operational excellence.

- Identify the right focus playgrounds which includes opinion leaders, key events, scenes, and marketing opportunities in line with Red Bull brand values and relevant to the local consumer and media landscape.
- Execute a smart and relevant occasion marketing plan in your region which focuses on building relevance of Red Bull in the right consumption occasions for your local consumers.
- Identify and manage key creators, opinion leaders & influencers in field by developing strong relationships to unlock mutual benefits for both Red Bull and externals.
- Lead the planning and execution of national and regional Red Bull-owned events, ensuring excellence in delivery and alignment with brand values.
- Mentor SM team members in delivering flawless sampling interactions and overcoming consumer barriers.
ORGANISATIONAL CAPABILITIES AND ENABLING STRUCTURE
- Act as a role model and embodying the Red Bull values and inspiring the team to excel through visionary leadership and clear strategic direction.
- Optimise resource allocation to ensure maximum impact of field marketing initiatives.

- Lead by example with maintaining branded tools and their management for achieving premium appearance and effective tool management, including Minis, Point of Sale Marketing (POSM) and other program tools.
- A university degree in Marketing, Business, Events, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
Mid-level marketing experience, and a network, within sport and active lifestyle in Victoria/Tasmania
Strong people, networking & collaboration skillset, along with a passion for local sport culture
Experience in planning, managing and executing events
