JOB PURPOSE

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate senior Finance professional to join the Finance Excellence Team (FET) team. The role will support the FET Manager in driving overheads discipline, achievement of control on the Local overheads spend and operational excellence across all EWA countries. It contributes to the effectiveness of the financial planning and reporting processes while ensuring sufficient control and Overheads target achievement. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
1) Overheads Process excellence:
• Annual IBP cycle – ensure robust bottom up build of the Overheads budget, ensuring sufficient challenge and support for all inputs.
• Ensure quality forecast of Overheads cost in the monthly / quarterly S&OP by obtaining and challenging inputs from stakeholders
• Operationally, accountable for creation of new Cost Centres, and master data elements related to Overheads, while adhering to relevant controls.
• Collate and review the inputs received from various stakeholders
• Ad-hoc Overheads scenario analysis and reporting as required
2) Role in Month end:
• Be the primary lead on the Overheads Month end process and be accountable for meeting all quality and time criteria for this task.
• Responsible for all accruals and journals related to Overheads during Month end. Challenge as necessary to ensure simplification and journal reduction.
• Coordinating various stakeholders, including offshore Uniops team to ensure Month End activities are performed on time with drivers for performance are clearly defined and any corrective action needed is closed timely.
• Ensuring submission of MEC related reports to various stakeholders on time and of good quality.
• Responsible to present Month / Quarter results to in country teams and ensure appropriate sign-offs
3) Perfomance Review and analytics

  • Land automation, specifically the Overheads dashboard and related simplification and standardisation.

  • Land insightful analytics on Overheads spend across different metrics to inform business decisions

  • Drive achievement of the Overheads target monthly through tracking spend versus budget and proactive liaison with stakeholders

  • Responsible for identifying risks and opportunities within the Overheads cost buckets and driving mitigations.

  • Ad-hoc analysis and reports to drive business performance

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
• Professional Finance qualification equivalent to CPA Finalist, CIMA or ACCA
• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in cost management across all disciplines in Finance and business partnering.
• High level of confidentiality and compliance to company policies on data privacy based on information handled.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups within a multinational or multi-country organisation set up.
• Should be able to demonstrate understanding of the P&L construct, key drivers across different lines and ability to influence business performance.
• Experience with data analytics, or data visualisation tools (Power BI etc)
