The purpose of this role is to initialise workers compensation claims and be the first point of contact for our customers. You will also be responsible for managing low-risk liability decisions and providing timely handover of accepted claims to our specialised teams.
 

This is a permanent, full time position based in our Melbourne office, with the flexibility to work from home.
 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders in line with EML Values.
  • Reviewing and analysing claims and making appropriate claims management decisions within allocated time frames and in accordance with EML policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Preparing accurate digital claim profiles, documentation, letters and reports in accordance with EML’s case management and operational models, in relation to claims in your portfolio in line with legislation.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation. Maintain awareness of industry developments and trends and respond effectively to changes.
     

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment dealing with a high volume of enquiries.
  • Effectively manage your time in order to achieve deadlines within required time frames.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to accurately use multiple software in a high volume and fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate with others in order to achieve outcomes.
