About the Role: Digital Marketing
The Digital Marketing & eCommerce team is looking for creative individuals for our digital marketing internship. The team works on titles from every Sourcebooks imprint at the cutting edge of digital advertising, social media, and email marketing. The Digital Marketing Intern at Sourcebooks would be supporting our Audience Development team, working on social media, email, admin, and content marketing.
Duties include (but not limited to):
  • Assist with scheduling and production of digital blog and social content
  • Prepare materials and research participants for influencer outreach
  • Assist in the planning, creation, and execution of email campaigns (e.g., list segmentation, content set-up, scheduling, tracking)
  • Support email and content marketing calendar: help draft listicle and quiz posts, schedule content, monitor engagement and performance
  • Perform admin digital marketing tasks such as maintaining calendars, updating dashboards, and documenting processes and workflows
  • Support digital marketing campaigns by creating assets and coordinating mailings

  • Interest and/or coursework in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field
  • Strong writing and organizational skills
  • Comfort with social media platforms and content creation
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines across imprints
  • Curious, proactive attitude and comfort with ambiguity as priorities shift
  • A genuine interest in books and publishing

Eligibility & Requirements
  • Must be a current college student (sophomore, junior, senior) or recent graduate
  • Able to commit to 21 hours/week for the full program duration (9/14 – 11/21/26)
  • Must reside in one of the following states for the duration of the internship:  Arizona, Connecticut, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin.
