- Manage a portfolio of category ‘A & B’ customers.
- Maintain existing business.
- Broaden product range at customers.
- Source new business/clients’ opportunities.
- Achieve sales GP target.
- Increase margin & profits.
- Customer profiling.
- Frequent follow up calls to clients (Minimum 20 visits per week).
- Stay abreast of sales and product information by attending regular training & seminars.
- Submit weekly call reports and administration.
- Market analysis, gather information to support accurate forecasting & updating relevant PM’s weekly.
- Ensure conditions of sale are always updated.
- Adhere to Rules of Procedure (ROP’s) at all times.
- Thorough preparation for customer visits (Deadline for weekly schedules).
- Assist in selling short, dated stock (where applicable).
- Adhere to Company Standard Operating Procedures & Policies at all times.
Skills
- Rubber & Polymer industry experience is required.
- Ability to understand the complete commercial pipelines and resolve issues in area of responsibility.
- Able to work effectively cross-functionally and with other business units’ functional areas to achieve company-wide objectives.
- 5 – 7 years’ experience managing complex and or significant customer relationships and key accounts
- Experience with CRM / Sales Force and MS Office
- SAP knowledge advantageous
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
- Tertiary qualification in commercial field/sciences (BSc Chemistry/ Marketing /Business, or similar), specialization in Polymers or Rubber is preferred.
