The position offers flexibility regarding location and can be based either in Denmark or from one of our regional offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong or Australia. We are looking for the right candidate and will consider the best location based on market proximity, experience and business needs. Regardless of location, the role requires close collaboration with our headquarters in Langeskov and regular travel across the APAC region.
The Role
As Export Manager, you will report to the Sales Director, Global & Nordics, and own the commercial performance and development of your assigned markets across APAC.
You will be responsible for driving profitable growth through distributor management, business development and strong commercial execution. Working closely with distributors, customers, Product Management, Marketing and colleagues across the global organization, you will play a key role in strengthening the KRUUSE brand and expanding our market position.
This is a role for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution and who thrives on delivering measurable business results.
Your responsibilities
Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with KRUUSE's global commercial strategy.
Take full commercial ownership of assigned markets, with responsibility for revenue growth, gross margin, profitability, forecasting and sustainable business development.
Develop, challenge and grow distributor partnerships through joint business planning, performance reviews and execution of agreed growth initiatives.
Identify new business opportunities and expand KRUUSE's market presence across APAC.
Drive profitable sales growth while managing budgets and commercial performance.
Collaborate closely with Product Management and Marketing to ensure strong market positioning, portfolio development and successful product launches.
Position our products effectively in competitive markets through strong commercial and value-based selling.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities and regulatory developments to identify commercial opportunities and business risks.
Prepare market analyses, business cases, forecasts and performance reports to support strategic decision-making.
Maintain a structured sales pipeline and CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and disciplined opportunity management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), distributors and strategic customers.
Collaborate across functions to ensure successful product launches and commercial execution.
Represent KRUUSE at customer meetings, exhibitions, conferences and industry events.
Approximately 90 travel days per year should be expected.
Who you are
We imagine you bring several years of experience in international B2B export sales and a proven track record of creating profitable growth through distributors in the APAC region.
You are commercially driven, proactive and analytical, with the ability to translate market insights into business opportunities. You enjoy taking ownership, building strong partnerships and creating measurable results.
Qualifications
Several years of experience in international B2B sales and business development.
Experience working with distributors in international markets.
Experience from the veterinary, medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or related industries.
Strong commercial acumen with proven business development skills.
Experience managing budgets, sales pipelines, forecasting and commercial performance.
Experience working with profitability, gross margin development and business cases.
A structured and data-driven approach to sales planning and execution.
Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with sales data.
Advanced Microsoft Excel, CRM and general IT skills.
A relevant commercial degree or equivalent business experience.
Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Asian languages is considered an advantage.
