Our client in the global professional services industry is looking for an Expert Engagement Lead to support the development of an innovative AI-powered platform that connects human expertise with intelligent technology. This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end expert experience, ensuring subject matter experts are effectively sourced, onboarded, supported, and engaged throughout their lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high-quality knowledge collection, facilitating expert participation, and driving operational excellence to ensure the platform delivers meaningful, expert-driven insights.

What you will do:

  • Own the end-to-end expert engagement lifecycle, from sourcing and onboarding through ongoing engagement, support, and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for experts across all stages of participation.
  • Lead expert onboarding by introducing the program, gathering required information, setting expectations, and delivering training.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships that encourage active participation and continued contribution.
  • Respond to expert inquiries and resolve platform-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify recurring challenges and implement solutions to improve the expert experience.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to maintain engagement and strengthen expert relationships.
  • Prepare structured briefing materials that provide interview context, focus areas, and relevant expert background.
  • Identify opportunities for additional context or follow-up sessions to improve knowledge quality.
  • Coordinate communication between experts and interviewers to ensure productive and well-prepared sessions.
  • Assist experts with scheduling tools and confirm interview availability.
  • Monitor interview pipelines and proactively resolve scheduling bottlenecks or delays.
  • Track knowledge collection progress across focus areas and identify knowledge gaps requiring additional coverage.
  • Report knowledge collection status and provide visibility into progress and outstanding needs.
  • Recommend new expert profiles that align with evolving knowledge requirements.
  • Coordinate expert onboarding into the knowledge management system to support quality and coverage objectives.
  • Manage expert engagement campaigns, including communications, engagement touchpoints, and user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination.
  • Monitor participation trends, engagement levels, and drop-off points, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce friction, and continuously improve the expert experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the ongoing success and growth of the AI-powered platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience managing stakeholder, client, customer, or community relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating onboarding, engagement, operations, or customer success activities.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and accountability.
  • Experience tracking progress, analyzing engagement metrics, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems and make sound operational decisions.
  • Comfortable working with scheduling, collaboration, and productivity tools in a technology-enabled environment.
  • Experience supporting AI, knowledge management, research, learning, consulting, or digital platform initiatives is considered an asset.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and capable of thriving in an evolving, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
