Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior (Level 3 or 4) Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support the Tooling Integration team in Berkeley, MO!
The Manufacturing Operations Analyst will be responsible for overall Cost, Quality, and Schedule of Tooling for the program. Leading internal and external supply base fabrication teams from initial planning through tool completion. Communicates tool status with customers and acts as the liaison between the Tool shop and the customer.
Our team is currently hiring us with an Experienced or Senior Manufacturing Operations / Tooling Integration Analyst.
Position Responsibilities (Experienced - Level 3) :
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Analyzes and interprets data to develop estimates and schedules
  • Provides feedback on assessment results
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes
  • Gathers and prepares tooling product data, presentation and support materials for manufacturing, procurement and shop-floor teams
  • Identifies, coordinates and process customer requirements for tooling products or information
  • Assists in the creation of and updates project schedules
  • Assists in reviewing and creating tooling product documentation and procedures
  • Performs tooling product order processing
  • Reviews electronic or physical drawings
  • Assists in the development of complex project estimates
  • Coordinates work off-loading and confers with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery
  • Resolves schedule, product deviations and manufacturing requirements at the program level, analyze impacts and monitors workarounds
  • Creates and manages comprehensive multi-tiered project schedules for significant organization, enterprise and business unit projects
  • Coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project and team, planning, scheduling, management, and supplier
  • Leads and oversees work packages at suppliers
  • Analyzes and coordinates resolution of errors in tooling fabrication and product configuration systems
  • Provides project visibility to management and team
  • Oversees compliance of Tool Fabrication to Tool Order Statement of Work, and the technical drawing
  • Ensures quality from supplier during fabrication
  • Consults with customers on status and issues
  • Familiar with GD&T, CMS inspection, technical specifications, tooling structures
  • Ensures compliance to established company policies, practices and procedures
  • Able to communicate with Suppliers, Engineering Team, and Leadership on a regular basis
  • Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • 3+ years' experience with fabrication tooling, working with tooling and tooling processes, or working in a tooling technical field
  • 3+ years' experience with CAD systems such as CATIA/UG
  • 1+ years of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting basic engineering drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Trade/Vocational School or equivalent education
  • Experience with Project Management and self-managing projects
  • 3+ years of tool breakdown/estimating
  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary pay range:
Experienced: (Level 3): $90,950 - $123,050
Senior (Level 4): $111,350 - $150,650
