West Monroe is seeking an Experienced Consultant with current consulting experience to join our Organization, People, and Change (OPC) practice. West Monroe’s Organization, People, and Change practice accelerates value and business outcomes of transformations, transactions, and implementations – through people, HR, and change strategies. 

For this opening, we are looking for someone with a proven track record supporting client engagements across our offerings, and each consultant within our OPC practice drives value across our service areas: 

  • Change Strategy & Execution: We offer comprehensive change management services, from strategy development to execution to change capability advisory and development, ensuring effective transformations are achieved and sustained by maximizing value, minimizing risk, and driving both engagement and adoption. 
  • Organization Design & Workforce Strategy: We achieve measurable business results by using digital tools, analytics, and benchmarks to improve organizational structures, culture, talent strategies, and support organizations in their journey to become a skills-based organization 
  • OPC Transactions: We advise on people issues and HR functions at every stage of the deal life cycle, including commercial strategy to planning and execution support for ongoing and future critical business activities. 
  • HR Transformation: We help HR leaders prepare their organizations for the future by transforming the HR operating model to free up time and resources to focus on mission-critical work that adds value to the business through people, processes, and technology. 

 What you’ll do: 

  • Prepare project materials, including data request lists and kickoff documentation.​ 
  • Manage project scheduling, project planning materials updating / status reporting.​ 
  • Support initial discovery process, complete general project research, develop client snapshots, and catalogue data / documents received in client engagements. 
  • Assist in data cleaning, data analysis, and deliverable creation, including formatting and storyboarding. 
  • Develop and maintain project templates and case studies; update case studies and assist in ongoing post-project asset development and maintenance of asset libraries. 
  • Conduct change impact analyses, support training development, and communication strategy development. 
  • Support target operating model development, organization design, skills assessments, learning strategy, workforce planning efforts, and other workforce transformations for our clients. 
  • Support the analysis of the end-to-end M&A transaction cycle, from reviewing data rooms to conducting HR and workforce analysis, to supporting purchase agreement / TSA efforts.
  • Support our clients in the development of their HR service delivery capabilities, from human capital management technology strategy and implementations to functional operating model design.
  • Assist in Request for Proposal (“RFP”) response materials preparation / business development material creation. 

 What you’ll bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. 
  • 1-3 years of relevant HR, talent strategy, and/or change management experience; client service and/or advisory experience strongly preferred. 
  • Previous experience managing one or multiple workstreams as a member on functional HR, talent, or change management projects (e.g. org design, workforce planning, change strategy and execution, skill assessments, HR M&A, HR technology selection and implementation, etc.). 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create impactful and concise executive stakeholder-ready deliverables, and polished client-facing oral communication skills. 
  • Strong data visualization and analysis skills required; and experience using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx, etc. to analyze data and present key insights in a compelling way preferred. 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 
  • Demonstrated success within one or more of West Monroe’s core industries including Consumer & Industrial Products, Healthcare (payer/provider), Life Sciences, High Tech & Software, Utilities, Insurance, Banking, and/or Private Equity.

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary. Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity. An estimated base salary for this role is below:
