Experienced Cloud System Engineer
Job summary
In our Linux applications agile team, we are looking for experienced cloud system engineer who would be able to take care of our internal CI and testing infrastructure. The team is responsible for developing security solutions on Linux platform targeted to customers starting from small-sized companies up to the large enterprises.
Core of the work is to prepare, run and maintain various environments for future cloud security solutions.
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain new and existing internal systems that facilitate continuous integration and testing of our products in cloud Environments.
- Maintenance of our internal, cloud systems and improving their reliability.
- Optimization of environments dedicated for automated testing, so they will be able to run larger number of tests on various distributions and cloud environments.
- Work within an agile team, taking part in the team activities like daily meetings, plannings, reviews and retrospectives.
Minimum qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in administration of Linux systems.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field of study.
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS…).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell), ideally automation scripting for cloud resources.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices (IAM, security groups, encryption).
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging and setting up alerts, dashboards, and performance tuning.
- Very good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn, improve and search for the best solutions.
- Desire to improve things, even if they seem to be "good enough".

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins)

Basic wage: from 3000 EUR brutto/month
* Financial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 10% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (normally 6 months).
* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
