The Mission
FOX6 Milwaukee is looking for a decisive, cool-under-pressure Nightside Executive Producer to lead our evening newscasts and streaming platforms. We cover one of the most news-rich markets in the country, and we need someone who loves the rush of live, dynamic coverage and knows how to win on every screen—broadcast, web, app, and social.
What You’ll Do
• Drive the Newsroom: Lead producers, anchors, reporters, and digital teams through daily editorial meetings, live coverage, and post-show debriefs.
• Own Breaking News: Spot developing stories, adapt quickly, and get live updates out across broadcast and streaming platforms immediately.
• Coach & Elevate: Mentor newsroom talent with clear, real-time feedback that makes our storytelling better every night.
• Guard the Standard: Keep scripts, graphics, teases, and push alerts sharp, ethical, accurate, and visually compelling.
• Partner Up: Work closely with newsroom leadership to build strategy, grow our audience, and crush our goals.
What You Bring
• EP Experience: Proven track record leading evening news and streaming coverage in a TV newsroom.
• Breaking News Instincts: Quick, confident decision-making when major news or severe weather hits.
• Multi-Platform Mindset: Deep understanding of streaming, digital strategy, social media, and AP style.
• Strong Leadership: Excellent communication, a calm demeanor under deadline pressure, and a passion for great storytelling.
• Flexibility: Ready to work nightside hours, including weekends and holidays when big news calls for it.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $75,000.00-85,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
