The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Organic Search Executive to join our team in Hong Kong / Singapore. This is a developing role for SEO professionals with 2-3 years of experience looking to expand their regional expertise.

This role will be pivotal in driving organic growth in global English-speaking and APAC markets. We require a candidate with exceptional SEO expertise in Google and AI Search, native-level fluency in English, and ideally one additional Asian language.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local search trends, search engine algorithms, and the changing digital landscape. This role will report to the Senior Organic Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Organic search strategies across global English-speaking markets and APAC markets under the guidance of Senior Organic Manager
  • Conduct keyword research, analyze search trends, and identify organic growth opportunities across multiple markets
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, and on-page elements; provide SEO content briefs to support organic growth
  • Perform technical SEO audits including site speed, mobile optimization, and site architecture reviews
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance using industry tools (Screaming Frog, Dragon Metrics, Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush)
  • Collaborate with content creators, developers, and cross-functional teams to integrate SEO best practices
  • Adapt global SEO strategies to local markets, considering cultural nuances and search behavior differences
  • Stay current with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging search technologies

Why this role is different: Traditional SEO remains your core focus, but you'll have opportunities to experiment with AI search visibility (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude). Curiosity about emerging search technologies is valued.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on SEO experience with demonstrated organic search KPI improvements
  • Native or near-native English fluency (written and spoken)
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles, practices, and tools
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, and at least one enterprise SEO platform (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Dragon Metrics or similar)
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment

Valued but not required:

  • Fluency in an additional Asian language
  • Experience experimenting with AI chat platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) for brand visibility
  • Understanding of local APAC search behaviors and cultural nuances
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Prompt engineering experience
  • International work or study experience
  • · You'll join The Egg's APAC Organic team, reporting to our Senior Organic Manager and collaborating with specialists across Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and Korea.
