Purpose:
Play a pivotal role in managing commercial finance, particularly focusing on financial planning and analysis, business partnering and supporting decision making through management information.
Your attention to detail, financial acumen, and ability to work within a dynamic manufacturing environment will contribute significantly to financial health and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for preparing budget-based provisions, reviewing overheads, analysing variances (RMC, manufacturing, OH, sales), submitting monthly templates, and delivering profit bridges with commentary.
• Should handle quarterly budget provision reviews with departments, prepares profit bridges versus budget, and provides detailed financial analysis and commentary.
• Oversee purchasing discipline and operating expenditure while driving overhead savings and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support business decision-making through scenario analysis, investment evaluation, and commercial reviews.
• Manage the CAPEX approval process including board paper submissions and development of financial business cases.
• Coordinate the annual budget planning process by analysing budgets, preparing review documents, and submitting comprehensive budget packs.
• Ensure accuracy in financial systems through overhead absorption rate computation, inventory revaluation, cost roll-ups, and price updates for purchased and produced items.
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accountancy or related fields.
Professional Experience:
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in the similar capacity
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
