JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage invoicing and customer settlement processes.
- Process payments, including telegraphic transfers (TTs), cheques, and fund transfers.
- Prepare and process crew wages.
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and provide weekly updates to management.
- Prepare CBR and EDMC presentation slides.
- Verify and reconcile MGO and Lubricant stock balances between SAP and Shipmate to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Prepare balance sheet schedules and supporting reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and corporate planning activities.
- Assist with the SAP HANA migration project
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities related to the role as assigned by management.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- 6 passes at GCE O/L with "A" pass for Maths.
- A minimum of 3 passes at the GCE A/L examination.
- University degree or equivalent academic qualification
- Part qualification in either CA/CIMA/ACCA.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the accounting field.
- Advanced knowledge on Microsoft Office packages.
Skills Required
- 6 passes at GCE O/L with A pass for Maths
- Minimum of 3 passes at GCE A/L
- University degree or equivalent academic qualification
- Part qualification in CA, CIMA or ACCA
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the accounting field
