Job Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records, process daily transactions, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Manage accounts payable, including invoice verification, supplier payments, statement reconciliations and discrepancy resolution.
Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, debtor ageing, reconciliations and follow-ups.
Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash balances and support cash flow and banking activities.
Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports and supporting schedules.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements, including VAT, SSCL and audit requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments, maintain proper documentation and support improvements to finance processes and controls.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely information and documentation.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline and/or Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, CMA, or AAT with relevant experience.
Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role.
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP or similar).
Good command of at least English and Sinhala languages.
Good interpersonal skills.
Skills Required
