Executive - Engineering - Operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend development meetings and provide technical input to finalize matters pertaining to machinery, sewing techniques, settings and attachments.
- Coordinate with service providers for regular maintenance of machinery, equipment, electrical and furniture fittings.
- Coordinate with relevant persons and oversee the work of electricians and ensure electrical/ electronic breakdowns in the factory are solved in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations for maintenance/ renovation of machinery/ projects and forward information to Manager/ General Manager.
- Research on new technologies / developments which can be implanted at the plant.
- Follow up and take necessary action to ensure the off standard hours are minimized due to engineering related activities.
- Support factory construction/ expansion as and when the need arises, coordinate with contractors, inspect workmanship and ensure the timely completion of same.
- Provide all technical feedback with regards to machine maintenance/ breakdown and ensure all machines are functioning as per the organizational expectations and ensure timely renewal of service contracts with the service providers.
- Drive the Energy Management System, conduct awareness programs, report monthly, quartly and annually energy performance with management and ensure adherence to energy saving initiatives in order to conserve energy and reduce energy waste at the business unit.
- Ensure the implementation of MOS projects (TPM), according to the agreed plan whilst, ensuring the sustenance of same.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree /Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

- Experience with Energy Management Systems and TPM (MOS) implementation
