Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for an Executive Assistant to support senior leaders in our Plantation, FL headquarters (hybrid model). To be successful in this role, you should be a confident, proactive go-getter with communication skills who thrives on making things happen and being part of a team.
What You'll Do:
- Manage complex calendars and resolve conflicts effectively
- Track key deliverables and follow-up on outstanding items
- Manage domestic and international travel as needed; complete and submit expense reports
- Work closely with the leadership teams, partner teams, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization across multiple geographical regions
- Produce and distribute correspondence. Research and create presentations
- Assist in the development and implementation of office procedures
- Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the existing administrative team
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
- Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Ad-hoc duties and special projects upon request
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of related experience supporting Executives in a complex and fast-moving environments
- A high degree of professionalism with a customer service attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with a 'no task too big or too small' mentality
- Excellent communication skills, strong writing/proofreading skills including grammar, punctuation, and spelling via multiple channels phone, email, chat, and in-person
- Ability to anticipate needs and proactively suggest solutions
- Handle sensitive matters with the utmost discretion and confidentiality
- Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies is preferred
- Deep intellectual curiosity and strong willingness to work on a team
- Willingness to take ownership and a practical approach to problem-solving
- Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
- Positive with a sense of humor
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Willingness to learn new tools/systems as needed
- High emotional intelligence and trustworthiness with a growth mindset and desire to continuously learn and improve
- A passion for pets and the improvement of the pet industry and market
