Job Description

Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Radius Campus HQ, 08:30am - 5pm, in office 5-days per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to join our Executive Operations team, supporting our Group CEO.

Reporting to the Head of Executive Operations, you will play a key part in the smooth running of the Group CEO’s office, supporting diary management, travel, meeting coordination and administration. You will work closely with, and under the guidance of, the Head of Executive Operations, who will set priorities and support you in the role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant with two to four years’ experience who is ready to step into a high-profile role at the heart of a global business, with the mentoring and development to grow into a senior Executive Assistant position over time.

We will be happy to welcome you to our Campus HQ Crewe, with core working hours of Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Given the profile of the office you will support, some flexibility to provide support outside core hours will occasionally be required.

Your daily responsibilities will be...

  • Supporting the day-to-day management of the Group CEO’s diary under the guidance of the Head of Executive Operations, scheduling meetings, resolving clashes and keeping the diary accurate and up to date.
  • Monitoring and triaging correspondence into the Group CEO’s office, drafting straightforward responses and escalating items to the Head of Executive Operations where appropriate.
  • Arranging and coordinating UK and international travel, accommodation and detailed itineraries, and processing related expenses.
  • Assisting with the preparation and collation of the CEO pack and other board and executive materials, working to the direction of the Head of Executive Operations.
  • Helping to organise offsites, events and business meetings, including venues, logistics, catering and attendees.
  • Attending meetings to take notes and capture actions where required, and following up to ensure they are completed.
  • Maintaining accurate records, contact lists, distribution lists and filing for the Group CEO’s office.
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion and sound judgement.
  • Building effective working relationships with colleagues and external contacts, always representing the Group CEO’s office professionally.
  • Providing support to the Head of Executive Operations and the wider EA community as required, including occasional cover and ad hoc project work.

Qualifications

  • Two to four years’ experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, team assistant or in a similar administrative support role.
  • Strong academics, with degree-level education and/or relevant professional qualifications.
  • Excellent diary management and scheduling skills, with confident use of Microsoft Outlook and the wider Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A mature, professional approach and the confidence to interact with senior stakeholders.
  • Discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Some experience of travel planning and logistics would be an advantage, although support and training will be provided.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and calm under pressure, with a positive and flexible approach to changing demands.
  • A genuine appetite to learn, take feedback and develop into a senior Executive Assistant over time.
  • Flexibility and willingness to provide support outside core hours when the role requires it.
