Company Description

For 35 years, we have been helping companies grow. It is a path that we know well. When Radius started its business in 1990, it was running a successful fuel SME in the North West of England. Today, we are a global business services company operating in 19 countries on five continents.

Our mission is to help businesses of all sizes adapt to market changes and take advantage of the opportunities that come with them.

We differentiate ourselves by our ability to provide SMBs with fleet and connectivity products and services in a single solution, as well as customised solutions for enterprise-level businesses.

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to support our Group CEO.

This is a high-profile role at the heart of the business, providing comprehensive and proactive support across diary and inbox management, travel, events and confidential project work.

We will be happy to welcome you to our Campus HQ Crewe, with core working hours of Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Given the seniority of the role, some flexibility to provide support outside core hours will be required.

Your daily responsibilities will be...

  • Preparing the CEO pack and other board and executive materials, often at short notice and to tight deadlines.
  • Arranging and coordinating UK and international travel, accommodation and detailed itineraries.
  • Organising offsites, events and business meetings end to end, including venues, logistics and attendees.
  • Attending business meetings to capture actions and maintain an informed view of activity across the business.
  • Handling a high volume of highly confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion and sound judgement.
  • Building effective relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally, always representing the Group CEO’S office professionally.
  • Providing flexible support outside core hours where required, including occasional evening and weekend responsiveness.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience as an Executive Assistant at CEO or board level, ideally gained within a large corporate environment.
  • Degree-level education and/or relevant professional qualifications, with the intellect to operate confidently at the most senior level.
  • A mature, professional approach, with the gravitas and behaviours appropriate to supporting a Group CEO.
  • Exceptional diary and inbox management skills.
  • Strong prioritisation and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a complex, high-volume and constantly changing workload.
  • Well versed in travel planning and logistics, including international travel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Absolute discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Flexibility and willingness to provide support outside core hours when the role requires it.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and calm under pressure.
