The Role:

Based in Barcelona, the Event Manager  will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end operations of our participation in conferences worldwide. This role focuses on coordinating and overseeing all aspects of event sponsorships and attendance, including vendor management, logistics, contract handling, and onsite execution. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing large-scale events and a deep understanding of global trade industries.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage all logistical aspects of attending and sponsoring global conferences focused on trade businesses between the U.S., UK, India, and China.
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and management to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials, collateral, and event-specific resources to support our presence at global conferences.
  • Handle event preparation, including shipping materials, coordinating schedules, and managing budgets.
  • Ensure seamless onsite event management, handling logistics, coordinating staff, and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Maintain effective event communications with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to ensure alignment and successful delivery of event objectives.
  • Provide post-event analysis and feedback to continually improve processes and ROI on event sponsorships and participation.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in event management, with a focus on international conferences or trade shows.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience managing end-to-end event operations.
  • Experience working in or knowledge of the global trade or finance sectors, particularly in relation to U.S./UK and India/China markets.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, contracts, and logistics simultaneously across various time zones.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Ability to handle the pressure of live events and ensure seamless onsite execution.
  • Proficient in event management tools and software.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages, such as Spanish, would be a plus.
