Job Summary:
The EUC Developer will be an integral part of the calc automation group, supporting the development and implementation of automation processes through Python programming. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their technical skills in a collaborative environment while contributing to the efficiency of index calculations and related processes.
Job Description:
- Assist in the development of Python scripts to automate index calculations and related processes.
- Collaborate with senior team members to understand project requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve coding skills and adherence to best practices.
- Support the integration of external scripts into the existing I6 platform, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain documentation for scripts and processes to promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to track development tasks.
- Utilize Github for version control
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance automation processes.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Basic proficiency in Python programming, with a desire to learn and develop coding skills further.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Github.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- An understanding of business logic and automation processes is a plus.
