In this role, you will ensure that Dynamics 365 is stable, scalable, and perfectly aligned with our evolving business needs. You will be the bridge between business requirements and system capabilities, overseeing configuration across core modules and ensuring that our operations—from the warehouse floor to the finance office—run seamlessly.

What You'll DoDynamics 365 Functional Ownership

  • Own the functional configuration across core modules, specifically Supply Chain, Warehouse Management (AWMS), and Finance.

  • Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configuration records and detailed process flows.

Configuration & Customization
  • Configure D365 to support complex business processes, including full AWMS setup (locations, workflows, rules, and parameters).

  • Partner closely with technical teams to design, review, and validate system customizations.

  • Ensure all configurations follow industry best practices to protect the integrity of upstream and downstream processes.

Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Lead the planning and execution of functional testing for all new customizations, enhancements, and Microsoft updates.

  • Perform rigorous unit and system testing, while driving the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process.

  • Validate all solutions against business requirements to ensure 100% readiness for production deployment.

Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Translate business requirements into high-quality functional designs through deep collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Support warehouse and operations teams in optimizing AWMS processes and maximizing system utility.

  • Provide expert functional guidance, hands-on training, and ongoing support to the end-user community.

Finance & Month-End Close Support
  • Partner with Finance teams to ensure smooth month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Assist with the configuration and validation of financial postings, inventory valuation, and reconciliations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional blockers impacting financial reporting or closing timelines.

Continuous Improvement & Support
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process automation and system efficiency improvements.

  • Manage production issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring the Dynamics 365 roadmap and evaluating new features for business impact.

What You'll Need
  • 8–10+ years of experience in ERP functional consultancy or architecture, with a heavy focus on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

  • Deep expertise in Advanced Warehouse Management (AWMS), including complex setup of workflows and location directives.

  • Strong functional knowledge of Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Core Finance modules.

  • Proven track record in leading UAT and managing end-to-end system implementations.

  • Ability to translate complex business needs into structured functional design documents (FDDs).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical developers and business stakeholders.
