Supports category management for the Ultrafresh grocery segment by executing category strategies, sourcing products, maintaining assortment, coordinating with suppliers, tracking sales and stock KPIs, managing promotions, ensuring accurate product listings, supporting replenishment, conducting market research, and preparing supplier reviews.

Own end-to-end product design for a major area of Careem's super app: set design vision, ship polished interaction and visual designs (including RTL, dark mode, localization), prototype rapidly (AI-assisted), validate with user research and data, contribute to and extend design systems, and influence cross-functional strategy.

Develop and maintain distributed backend services powering Careem’s large-scale platform. Build scalable, reliable, testable, and maintainable features using Java, Spring Boot, databases, microservices, and AWS. Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and designers in an autonomous agile team while improving engineering practices and solving complex technical problems.

Own and develop scalable Golang backend services for Careem’s Quick and Shops customer experience. Build REST APIs, integrations, data models, catalog systems, and event-driven Kafka/Avro services. Support AWS infrastructure, participate in on-call rotations, debug distributed production systems, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally. AI-assisted development is part of the workflow.

Own merchant performance and picking operations across UAE and Jordan, improve marketplace KPIs, build strategic roadmaps to reduce GMV leakage, manage unit economics, run business reviews, lead peak-season readiness, and manage a team of Operations Specialists while coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

Drive category analytics by extracting and analysing large commercial datasets, building SQL queries, automating reports and dashboards, and creating presentations for suppliers and senior management to inform assortment, pricing, promotions, and margin decisions in a fast Q-commerce environment.

Design, develop, and maintain distributed backend services focused on scalability, reliability, and code quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, write clean maintainable code, improve engineering practices, and support large-scale systems handling user requests and payments.

Lead agency GTM across UAE, KSA and Egypt, build and mentor an agency partnerships team, drive multi-million dollar agency-led revenue, influence product/measurement priorities, and establish scalable playbooks, governance, and market presence for Careem Ads.

Design, implement, and maintain network, server, voice, endpoint, and data center infrastructure. Manage VMware virtualization, WAN/MPLS/SD-WAN, MDM, SSO, backup/recovery, contact center systems, patching, and API integrations. Partner with product, engineering, growth, marketing, and analytics to design experiments, segment audiences, and measure incrementality.

Lead and evolve a cross-platform design system: govern tokens, components, accessibility, and documentation. Build AI-native tooling (Figma plugins, agent workflows, audits) to automate audits, maintain token pipelines, and enable design-to-code. Drive adoption through training, governance, and close partnership with engineering to deliver deployable components and maintain consistency across platforms and locales.
