SUMMARY
The ERP & Application Engineer will provide operational support and optimization for the Yonyou U9 ERP system and ensures seamless integration between business and manufacturing systems, partners with production and support teams, and collaborate with global IT to drive system reliability, implement enhancements, and support manufacturing excellence.
This position is critical to ensure smooth operations between our business planning systems (U9 ERP) and Business Application. You'll be the bridge between IT, Operation, ensuring data flows seamlessly from customer order through production execution to delivery.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- ERP System Support (Yonyou U9),
- System Integration & Data Management
- Business Process & Continuous Improvement, Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and Warehousing teams to understand requirements
- Training & User Support, Provide training and ongoing support to key users across manufacturing and support functions
- Project Coordination & Collaboration for ERP integration
- Collaborate with global IT teams on standardization initiatives and best practices
- Coordinate with vendors (Yonyou) for technical support and system updates
- Support new site integrations and system rollouts
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Direct experience with Yonyou U9 ERP system (required)
- Experience with Black Lake MES or similar manufacturing execution systems (required)
- Experience supporting manufacturing modules: Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, or Warehouse Management
- Proven track record of system configuration, troubleshooting, and user support
- Experience with ERP-MES integration and data flow management
EDUCATION & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex system issues
- Understanding of manufacturing business processes and shop floor operations
- Experience with SQL databases and basic query writing
- Familiarity with API integrations and data interfaces
- Knowledge of system documentation and process mapping
- Basic understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, WAN connections)
- Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and reporting
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Yonyou U9 system certification or training
- Black Lake MES certification or training
- ITIL Foundation
- Project Management (PMP, CAPM) or Agile certifications
- SQL or database certifications
