Just imagine engineering the machines that bring LEGO® Play to life. Now make it real!

We are strengthening our focus on Technology Innovation in R&D Processing, and you will play a key role in developing and implementing the next generation of automated high-precision manufacturing equipment that brings LEGO elements to life through processes such as decoration, coating, and pre-assembly of moulded plastic components.

Apply your proven expertise in developing automated manufacturing equipment, from concept development towards deployment into scalable and reliable manufacturing solutions.

Play your part in our team’s success

As an Equipment Manager Specialist, you will together with a project team and a multi-disciplinary engineering team be responsible for designing, building, testing, and delivering equipment. Together, we combine hands-on engineering with project leadership, turning shared ideas into pragmatic solutions that make a real impact on the factory floor.

Core Responsibilities

  • Overall Technical Lead of developing the automated equipment from concept development through design, build, testing, factory implementation, and handover to the Platform Owner.

  • Drive technical direction and support on project planning, including timelines, resource plans, cost estimates, and stakeholder alignment on the technical solution.

  • Design and document mechanical solutions using CAD tools, ensuring compliance with requirements, standards, and best engineering practices.

  • Manage technical risks and solution quality through design reviews, D-FMEA, test planning, validation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Ensure successful operational adoption by supporting process changes, providing technical documentation, and enabling a smooth transition to Platform Owners and production sites.

Do you have what it takes?

We imagine that you have a background in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a similar field. Moreover, you have:

  • Experience developing automated high-precision manufacturing equipment through to full implementation.

  • Proficient with mechanical design using CAD tools, e.g. Siemens NX or similar.

  • The ability to contribute to technical decisions, planning, and structured problem solving.

  • Experience with testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with others to achieve shared success.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Teamcenter or similar technical document management systems.

  • Knowledge of industrialization and digitalization (e.g. Industry 4.0).

  • Experience with agile project execution e.g. Scrum.

  • Experience with structural analysis, e.g. finite element analysis.

  • Knowledge of vision systems or similar.
