We are looking for a seasonal Equipment Lubricator to physically apply lubricants/grease to equipment in a timely manner following specific set up directions and schedules at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA.  Understands food safety compliance, safe food handling and good manufacturing practices in a food plant. This is a seasonal, non-exempt, union position, supporting our fresh pack season, typically July – early November.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Uses food grade lubricants/grease to apply lubricants/grease to assigned machines using lubing equipment. 
  • Follows a specific lubrication schedule; performs repetitive duties timely. 
  • Observes equipment during operation. 
  • Follows all procedures for a hygienic food manufacturing process.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality rules and regulations within area of responsibility. 

Requirements: 

  • 1+ year experience in a manufacturing/industrial facility in the food industry preferred. 
  • Constantly required to stand, walk; handling/grasping; fine finger manipulation; repetitive motion; speaking/hearing/seeing; vibratory tasks.
  • Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.; occasionally pushes up to 20 lbs.
  • Specfic vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and distance vision
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and work extended schedule, weekends, and any shift assigned during the fresh pack season, typically August to early November.
