Localisation: Aimargues (30 minutes from Montpellier), Haguenau (30 minutes from Strasbourg) or any other Mars office

Type of contract: permanent contract

The Supply Planning Capability Expert has the expertise on OMP OPR (Operational Planning) module and knows how to achieve required business processes with the solution. The job owner works closely with the solution provider and DT Teams to deliver key technology capabilities to the business users.

What are we looking for?

  • + 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain roles, ideally in planning.

  • High level of understanding of processes covered by Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP+ and S&OE, ideally built across several Mars divisions or from previous roles at other companies.

  • Expertise on OMP or other Advanced Planning Systems like Kinaxis, BlueYonder.

  • Experience working with remote multi-cultural teams.

  • Good computer literacy and understanding of data structure (Oracle or relational database, MS Excel).

  • Fluent in English.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Support E2E planning transformation program within the areas of DRP, Deployment, Production Planning and Sequencing.
  • Translate and align business requirements from regions into documented OMP functionals requirements.
  • Contribute to design of a seamless E2E planning solution by collaborating with Global Business Process Owners and Functional Expert of other planning functional areas.
  • Support DT with data requirements & integration.
  • Follow up capability developments with the solution provider.
  • Support regions to validate the delivered capabilities.
  • Develop and support functional training framework.
  • Create and continuously improve system and process documentation for supported roles.
  • Create collaborative relationships with necessary Digital Technology and OMP technical partners.
  • Effectively support and guide regional functional experts.
  • Follow up on functional escalations from regions such as issues and gaps, and drive resolution with OMP.
  • Contribute to smooth change of business processes and user adoption.
  • Oversee process compliance with technology use for all Operational Planners
