The PositionSupply Chain Assistant (CDD)
Job Summary
- Ensuring the safe and punctual departure for the following transport modes: road, sea freight, rail, air freight from the departure station, following correct dispatch procedures. Providing information and assistance to customers.
- Confirm sales orders by taking into account physical stock and ETAs of purchase orders
- Book transport, issue DLs and customer invoices
- Manage shipments from warehouses to customers facilities with respect of the transport cost and service level targets. Manage the customers urgent deliveries.
- Manage the customer returns & complaints in case root cause analysis impacts Supply Chain ; escalate to management when required.
- Keep customer services informed of all delivery steps
- Send the purchase orders to suppliers, follow up these orders confirmations.
- Control suppliers´ deliveries conformity, costs generated by non-conformities (quality, delay) and that these costs are re-invoiced
- Anticipate the delivery delay from suppliers and manage emergencies
- Forward all necessary documents to the logistics service providers
- Receipt goods in software
- Invoice Logistics Service Providers
- Send input documents to the accounting department for invoices reconciliation
- Manage supplier complaints
