Job Description
Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?
Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Matter.
You will be a critical delivery leader within the Mondelēz International Digital & Technology organization, responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cutovers for the o9 Enterprise Operations Planning (EOP) platform and other major transformation programs across NALA, MEU, and AMEA regions. You will ensure that each Go-Live transition is executed with precision, minimal business disruption, and full stakeholder alignment - bringing together technology, operations, and business teams to deliver seamless cutovers at global scale.
How you will contribute
You will own the end-to-end cutover management lifecycle across multiple transformation program waves, driving readiness, execution, and hypercare across all workstreams. Working in close partnership with Solution Architects, Testing Leads, Business Process Owners, and vendor teams, you will be the single point of accountability for cutover planning and Go-Live execution. Specifically, you will:
  • Design and own the Global Cutover Strategy for the o9 EOP program, covering all waves and regional deployments across NALA, MEU, and AMEA - including cutover sequencing, dependency mapping, and risk mitigation planning.
  • Develop detailed Cutover Plans and Run Books, defining task-level activities, owners, timelines, durations, and rollback triggers for each cutover event - from dress rehearsals through to live execution.
  • Lead and facilitate multiple Cutover Dress Rehearsals to validate readiness, identify gaps, refine timelines, and build team confidence ahead of each Go-Live event.
  • Coordinate and manage all cutover-related workstreams simultaneously - including data migration, system freeze periods, interface cutovers, batch job sequencing, and business blackout window management.
  • Serve as the central command during live cutover execution - chairing war room sessions, tracking task completion in real time, managing escalations, and making critical go/no-go decisions in coordination with program leadership.
  • Manage go/no-go decision frameworks, defining clear criteria, checkpoints, and escalation paths for program sponsors and steering committees.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across business, IT, and vendor teams - including SAP, o9, and third-party integration partners - to ensure full alignment on cutover responsibilities, timelines, and communication protocols.
  • Define and manage the Hypercare Plan post-Go-Live, ensuring heightened support coverage, rapid issue resolution, and structured handover to BAU operations within agreed timelines.
  • Track and report cutover readiness metrics, task completion status, open risks, and issue logs to program leadership and executive stakeholders throughout the cutover lifecycle.
  • Capture lessons learned from each cutover event and continuously improve cutover templates, run books, and processes for subsequent wave deployments.
  • Manage business readiness activities in coordination with change management and training teams to ensure end users and operations teams are prepared for each Go-Live.

What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
  • Leading cutover management for large-scale ERP, supply chain, or enterprise platform transformation programs - ideally within the CPG, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
  • Developing and executing detailed cutover run books and managing live war room environments for complex, multi-system Go-Live events across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Managing multiple concurrent cutovers across program waves, with the ability to track interdependencies, manage conflicts, and maintain execution discipline across large, distributed teams.
  • Stakeholder management at all levels - from technical workstream leads and vendor partners to senior business leaders and program sponsors - with the ability to drive alignment and communicate clearly under pressure.
  • Go/No-Go decision facilitation, including the preparation of readiness assessments, risk summaries, and executive briefing packs for program governance bodies.
  • Data migration cutover coordination - including data freeze management, reconciliation checkpoints, load sequencing, and sign-off from business data owners.
  • Integration and interface cutover planning, including sequencing of batch jobs, FTB runs, and system handshakes across SAP and non-SAP application landscapes.
  • Hypercare planning and structured transition to BAU support - including defining SLAs, escalation paths, and support team readiness.
  • Program management tools and methodologies - including MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, or equivalent - for managing complex, multi-stream cutover plans.
  • Working effectively in high-pressure, time-critical environments while maintaining calm, clear communication and decisive leadership.

More about this role
What you need to know about this position:• This is a global role supporting multiple o9 EOP wave deployments and will require close coordination across NALA, MEU, and AMEA regions with varying time zones and business calendars.• The Global Cutover Lead will be accountable for the overall health and execution quality of each Go-Live event and will interact directly with program sponsors and steering committee members.• The role demands strong command of both the technical cutover landscape (integrations, batch jobs, data loads) and the business readiness dimension (user access, process go-live, communication).• This position sits within the Digital & Technology function and reports into the o9 Program Director / Delivery Lead.
What extra ingredients you will bring:• Direct experience with o9 Solutions, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP IBP cutover activities - including familiarity with platform-specific Go-Live prerequisites, system checks, and validation steps.• Experience managing cutover activities for Trade Promotion Management (TPM), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or other non-SAP application transitions within a broader program landscape.• Exposure to Agile and DevSecOps delivery models and understanding of how cutover activities integrate into sprint-based and release-train delivery cycles.• Strong facilitation skills - able to chair high-stakes war room sessions, resolve conflicts quickly, and keep large cross-functional teams focused and accountable.• Familiarity with MDLZ or multi-national CPG supply chain and finance operations is a significant advantage.
Education / Certifications:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. An engineering or technical background is strongly preferred.• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is highly desirable.• SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certification is a plus, given the program's agile delivery model.• ITIL Foundation certification is beneficial, particularly for hypercare and transition-to-BAU activities.• SAP or o9 functional knowledge certifications are an advantage.
Job specific requirements:• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in IT program delivery, with at least 5-6 years in a dedicated cutover management or Go-Live lead role for major enterprise transformation programs.• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple cutovers across global programs with complex, multi-system landscapes.• Experience operating in global CPG, FMCG, or manufacturing organizations with multi-regional program footprints is strongly preferred.• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a large volume of tasks, owners, and dependencies simultaneously across multiple workstreams.
Travel requirements:• Travel will be required to support cutover dress rehearsals and live Go-Live events across NALA, MEU, and AMEA regions. Travel intensity will be highest during Go-Live windows for each program wave.
Work schedule:• Full-time. The role requires flexibility to operate across multiple time zones during active cutover and hypercare periods. Extended hours and weekend availability will be required during Go-Live execution windows.
