About this opportunity:
Ericsson is driving innovation in AI, cloud, and intelligent network solutions. We are looking for a recent graduate or early-career developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications for telecom use cases.
This role offers a strong starting point for a career at the intersection of applied AI, full-stack development, and telecommunications. You will work with agentic AI systems that can reason, use tools, and support automated workflows, helping transform complex telecom data into practical solutions for operations, troubleshooting, and automation.
You will gain hands-on experience across backend services, web interfaces, Microsoft Copilot Studio, cloud AI platforms, AI orchestration frameworks, and cloud-native development. Working alongside experienced engineers, RAN specialists, data scientists, and architects, you will contribute to prototypes and solutions that support Ericsson's AI innovation initiatives while developing skills in modern software engineering and responsible AI.
What you will do:
- Develop and integrate AI agents for telecom operations, troubleshooting, analytics, and automation.
- Build backend APIs and web interfaces that make AI workflows accessible to users.
- Prototype solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, including agents, connectors, and knowledge sources.
- Explore cloud AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock and Azure AI Foundry.
- Containerize and deploy services using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native practices.
- Support automated testing, code reviews, observability, scalability, and responsible AI.
- Collaborate in an Agile team with engineers, architects, data scientists, and global stakeholders.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Full-stack development experience through projects, coursework, internships, or research, including APIs, web applications, databases, and version control.
- Strong interest in AI, LLMs, agentic systems, cloud development, and telecom data analytics.
- A collaborative, self-motivated approach and willingness to learn.
- Beneficial: experience with FastAPI, Node.js, React, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Beneficial: familiarity with Copilot Studio, AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps, or relational, NoSQL, graph, or vector databases.
- A portfolio, Git repository, research project, hackathon contribution, or similar work is an advantage.
